Scroll down to content

1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Mourning

For those who may be grieving, suffering from some heart ache, when you put your trust in God He can take those sorrowful feelings and replace them with ones of joyfulness.

So if you are in a place of darkness in your life, if you are depressed or crying and you don’t know why, do not discount giving it to God through prayer. He will be happy to take your heavy burden and replace it with the lightness of joy.

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, Psalm 30:11

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to Me with all you heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD you God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil. — Joel 2:12-13
