1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Uphold
Some of the words in the dictionary meaning the same as “Uphold” are: advocate, defend, encourage, side with, vindicate, aid, assist, boost, carry, raise, sustain, lift, back up, stick up for, etc. All these are the things that Jesus Christ will do for us and much more.
When we follow God and His commands, we will see the many ways in which He defends us and protects us from the enemy. God is always there to uphold His children.
My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:8
The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. Psalm 145:14
The Lord does not turn any one who seek Him away, so whatever your need might be today, if you turn to Him with all your heart He will hear you, and He will lift you up.
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will UPHOLD you with My righteous right hand.’ “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them— Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.” Isaiah 41:10-13 NKJV
