1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Endure
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 2:3
When Battles Arise:
Some Christians and Non-Christians may think that once you become followers of Christ everything will be perfect, but nothing can be further from the truth. It almost seems that once we do decide to walk with Christ, there are more battles to face. But we know that for every battle that will arise, God will arm us with strength which will enable us to endure whatever hardship the enemy throws at us.
To Endure:
The meaning for endure is to suffer without yielding; or to suffer patiently. This can be very hard to do when you’re the one in the fire. It’s the worse thing to be sick and there is nothing anyone can do to help you. It’s at times like these, that you will want to turn your attention to Jehovah and to keep crying to Him, praying and asking Him for the strength that will help you to endure mentally or physically. This doesn’t mean that you will not do everything in your own power to help yourself, BUT—also do not discount relying on Jehovah. He really does have the power to move mountains.
It really is a shame, but often times when I’m at my weakest, that is when I’m the closest to God. Most times after I’ve done everything to try and help myself, and nothing works, then I turn everything over to Him and just leave it in His hands. However, after many times of turning to God at the end, I’m finally learning to give it to Him from the beginning. When this happens, there will be less stress, less, worries and less anxieties.
Conclusion:
Endure, endure, endure, never give up and never give in. Believe and trust that God will lift you up and carry you. To believe otherwise is to give in to the enemy. It’s also easier to endure if you are a believer. Yes, we know that God is love, but a time is also coming when His wrath will be meted out, and for those that do not believe, they will not be able to endure. How do I know this? God’s word tells us what will happen, and we have to believe that if He says it will happen, it will eventually come to pass.
But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation. Jeremiah 10:10

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: Hebrews 10:36
Amen! God bless!
Thanks Ryan—Blessings!!
Hebrews 10:36. So true.
Thanks for stopping by usathroughoureyes I added your Scripture and it’s so true and so beautiful, to know that after we have endured we may finally receive the promise of eternal life.
I’m not sure if you are familiar with Margaret from soulfood101blog but she is faithful to stop by every Thursday and she also is a Christian who shares Scriptures each and every day.
Yes, we have subscribed to Margaret’s blog for a long time now and are constantly refreshed with reading her post. God is sooooo awesome.
Amen… He certainly is. So glad you’re familiar with Margaret’s blog!
Can I add 2?
And ye shall be hated of all men for My name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. — Mark 13:13
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away theirs ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. –2 Timothy 4:3-4
I love this Leola 🙂
Thanks Margaret, I’m so glad you left two. I love them both, but the second one seems as though it’s being lived out right now in our world today. People love to see a good fairy tale and will even try to live their live accordingly, but tell them any thing about god and they have all sorts of excuses and they are quick to reject Scripture.
We have usathroughoureyes joining us for the first time this week. I’m not sure if you are familiar with her blog but every day is an adventure. She travels the usa and shares her adventures of the places where she and her family stops.
Yes, today seems everyone wants the “easy” route. Sadly they don’t realize the easy route is God 🙂
Yes, I’ve been following and enjoying usathroughoureyes blog since I first started blogging. They are very nice and kind people. And their adventures are amazing. I was sad when they were not posting for a while, and happy to see them back again 🙂
Great, I’m glad you are acquainted with there blog—I too enjoy it.
Amen! A lovely share!
“Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].”
1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-7 AMP
May is my Love month, I would be remiss; to not have the love scripture be a part! God bless!
Thank you once again Warren. We have usathroughoureyes joining us for the first time this week. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with her blog. She travels the usa and shares her adventures every where she visits with her family. And joining us once again is Margaret from soulfood. I do believe you are familiar with her blog where she shares scriptures each and every day. May God continue to bless you.
You’re welcome. Yes, I know both blogs. Blessings!
Leola, thank you again for the weekly challenge. I will check out a couple of the bloggers who are new to me.
From James 1:12:
“Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
As imperfect Christians, we fall short of meeting God’s expectations. Yet, we appreciate God’s challenge to walk faithfully and avoid temptation. None of us will ever earn a perfect score, but we can step forward with an attitude to be free of sin.

So sorry bigskybuckeye for the lateness in putting your Scripture on.
Wonderful, these are a few of the other blogs that I find quite interesting.
No worries as I didn’t reply with a verse until the following day.
Oh good… So I wasn’t as late as I thought.😄😄🙏🏽🙏🏽
