Picking Up The Pieces Of My Bleeding Heart

Scroll down to content

The day has already been wet by the many raindrops that dampened the earth, so I will not allow my spirits to be also dampened.

My Bleeding Heart has been trampled to the ground. How is this possible? How did this happen? Perhaps my heart has been way too close to the bird feeder.

So after enjoying the beauty of my bleed heart bleeding-hearts/ a few days ago, today I’m literally picking up the pieces of my broken bleeding hearts.

I believe the squirrel might be the guilty party. In trying to get to the bird feeder, perhaps he fell onto my bleeding hearts and trampled them.

In the above photo I’m holding my bleeding heart in my hand while I take the photo with the other hand.

Am I happy about the state of my bleeding heart? Absolutely not.

My friend has three. She had the white one and also the red with white touches and one that’s all red. She also tells me there is one that’s yellow, which I would love to see.
