Internet Woes Continue:

Well what a week, it certainly wasn’t without it’s trials and tribulations. A few weeks ago I was here thanking  all my WordPress followers for their support, and I would still like to thank everyone who continues to stop by. Since that time I have had so many internet problems. It’s been off most of the day and only just came back on. We had the workman out a couple of days ago and thought everything was fixed, but obviously not. So If I haven’t been by your page in a while this is the reason why. I will get there eventually.

Unknown:

Not only  was I having internet issues, but earlier in the week someone stopped by my blog to leave a comment on my page, which I have deleted. What I can remember of the comment is something like this; that Christians are wasting their time, that Jesus is dead, and He’s not alive and neither is He coming back. There was quite a lot more said besides these few lines, and of course the person was “Unknown.”

The Comfort of Christ’s Coming:

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 – 18

  1. I’m sorry you had troubles with internet.
Amen to the scripture you shared with us. It’s a beautiful reminder of the truth.

  2. The devil will do whatever it takes to try to take our minds away from God. Sounds like that person just couldn’t handle the truth and needs praying for. 🙂

    1. That’s so true Michelle–thanks for taking the time to comment, and I’m so sorry for the lateness in my response.

  3. You must be doing something right to be experiencing all this trouble! Hopefully God will open the person’s eyes and heart who left you that comment before it’s too late. God bless, Sister.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment, and so sorry for the lateness in my response. Isn’t that always the way—the more we try to witness for god, the more the enemy comes after us.

    1. Thanks so much for understanding Warren, just know that I will be by. Not only was the internet down, but life can also get busy at times. It’s up and running now, but I have been warned that there may be more interruptions. I’m also thinking I may do a little less blogs for the summer months—so much to do, but I’ll still be around.
