Heaven's Gate - Eternity Afterlife

Today’s Word: Raised

22 Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, 23 and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful. Matthew 17:22-23

Jesus predicts His own death and resurrection. He tells it to the disciples and they are sadden.

Today even though it may pain our hearts to see what Jesus suffered for us, we don’t have to remain sadden because we know the rest of the story. We know that Jesus rose again. The grave could not hold Him, and He is now in heaven interceding on our behalf. We know that Jesus lives, and that He will one day soon return to take us to be with Him forever.

“He is not here; He has Risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be Raised again.’ ”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:6-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Raised, Risen, Rose; Triumphant, with All power. The Son of Man, the Undisputed Champion… of the world. Hell, Death, the Grave; His love forever the key, to set captive hearts free. Who can contend, who can truly stand against; Nobody Greater! Who can take His title; The King of kings, Forever reigns!
Hallelujah, Praise God; Thank You, Jesus!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. — Romans 10:9 KJV

From Romans 6:4: “We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.”
The Resurrection of our Savior allows all of us to step up, accept God’s grace, ask for Christ’s salvation, and walk with in newness of life. Newness of life brings us renewed hope.
