1   Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow  mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.

Today’s Word: Seed

Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. Matthew 13:22

The above scripture applies to people who would love to make a stand for the Lord but they think that in order to follow Jesus there would be too many restrictions placed on their lives. Attempt after attempt may be made, but something always gets in the way, and after a while the person just maintain there worldly ways, with the parties and chasing after money, and perhaps whatever addictions they may have, and all thoughts of God that they once had vanishes for good.

“Those who go out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
carrying their sheaves.
Psalm 126:6
With spring arriving in the Northern Hemisphere, many farmers will soon be sowing
their crops for another growing season.

“Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no grain. And other seeds fell into good soil and produced grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.” And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark‬ ‭4:7-9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

There can never be a true harvest, if the seeds we plant; are not Godly! God bless!
