The Comfort of Christ’s Coming

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

What a time that will be. This is when we will be reunited with our loved ones who passed on before us. The graves will open up and the ones who died knowing Christ will now emerge from their graves. They go up first and then we go up and meet up with them in the clouds. Jesus stays on the clouds without His feet touching the earth at this time.

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth. I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

  2. That will be an incredible day!
    We will see our love ones again and together we will see Jesus!!

    Death seems permanent but knowing that one day death will come to an end
    And our loved ones who died knowing and living for Christ will live again makes it bearable.

    God is so amazing and I can’t wait for his return.

    1. Yes, I too so look forward to that day. It will be such a grand and wonderful day.

      I’m always so amaze when I come across people who only want to live for here and now. I feel sad for them, as I know how much we really have to look forward too.
