It’s a bright sun-shiny day and I can’t help but think about spring and the return of the butterflies. Yesterday was a very mild day with a lot of the snow melting. I can see signs of a garden again beneath the remaining snow. I’m also hoping to capture all the stages of the butterfly from beginning to end this year. At the same time I’m praying that my garden won’t be overtaken by too much milkweed.

I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

Thank you for commenting. The flower is really a weed and I planted it to attract butterflies to my garden, but I’m hoping that it doesn’t choke out all my other plants…..Aww so your daughter also love butterflies. How sweet!!
