I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
If the Caterpillar can undergo a transformation, going from crawling to flying we too should be capable of accomplishing much more. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. The Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. We too have a "Host" and He also provides us with an abundance of food. If we would use the fuel from this food (scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress.
We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts, if only in our minds.

God is worthy all the time, he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.๐
Great shot!! Is that a hairy woodpecker? It reminds me of the little downy woodpeckers we have, but his bill looks longer to me.
I find it quite difficult to really identify between the Downy and the Hairy unless they are together. If it appears bigger then I know it’s a Hairy, but for the most part when I see that red patch on the head I usually think they are all Downy Woodpeckers.
True. I haven’t seen them close up, so I’m not sure. They are so, so similar. Anyway, great shot and great poem!
Thank you Heather.
