Word For Today: Compassion
I would love to form a friendly community here where we link up and Share Scriptures. Let’s speak kind and uplifting words to one another. Just this small act can do much for our well-being. Below are some simple steps to follow. Let’s move in a positive direction for 2019.

1 Every Thursday I would give you something from the bible and you find a scripture to go with the word. If you want you can write a little bit on what the scripture means to you. Don’t forget to follow mycreatorscreation so you won’t miss out on this challenge.
2 Leave your scripture in the comment box below with your Blog Title, and then I will put it on this page. Put the book, chapter and verse from the bible where you found the scripture.
3 This challenge is open to everyone, Christians and Non-Christians. If you don’t have access to a bible you can go to the App store and get Bible Gateway. It’s free and you can put the word given in the search box and all the text containing that word will come up.
4 Next, it would be nice to go and visit each others blogs, see what they came up with and what the word means to them.
Triumphant Thursday will be a weekly challenge. Looking forward to seeing your posts.
Compassion:
Psalm 145:8
The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.
This scripture is such a comfort to me because it tells me how kind and loving God is. It makes me think of the times when I may have been angry at others and having an unforgiving spirit. Yet, here is God showing me compassion when I don’t deserve it. This is why I now turn to Him and ask Him for His forgiveness on a daily basis.

“Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate.”
Psalms 116:5 NASB
- When we didn’t deserve, the Lord was gracious. Even we our hearts said unworthy, His love called us righteous. Yes, our God; shows us true compassion!
This is a great idea!!!🌸🌻🌸 Sweet Blessings!!!
So glad you think so. I’m looking forward to seeing your scripture.
Great idea Leola!!
Luke 7:13
And When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her weep not.
This verse reminds me that God is compassionate, especially when I need him most.
Yes, so true. We may not realize it, but it also breaks His heart to see His children suffering.
It’s incredible to think that the God of this vast universe loves me so much that he hurts when I hurt. In spite of how often I mess up he’s compassionate and I can trust him. What an amazing God!!
He is amazing. I look forward so much to when we will finally get to spend an eternity with Him. What an awesome time that’s going to be. Thanks so much for responding.

Lamentations 3:32 NLT

The Lord is his kindness receives us at anytime in our human frailty and carnal nature. In fact he goes as far as to send his only son, to redeem us by substituting his life for us. He didn’t have to do it but his unconditional love made it a reality. We can only thank him and praise his name on a regular as we celebrate our victory over sin because of his LOVE!! Thank you Jesus! Be a blessing Leola and continue on shedding his light by being available.

1Corinthans 10:13 He will not let you be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that …. The Lord is never slack concerning his promises. So as far can see pain is only a setback. We can see God in the midst of every situation. Let give him praise.
Very true…yes, pain can be seen as only a setback, with lessons for us to learn as we walk through that fire.
