Step on to the heavenly highway
Jesus is making His final appeal,
With eyes focus heavenward we will live,
Our aim; to be eternally sealed.
Step on to the heavenly highway,
It’s not too late, Jesus is getting ready. He will soon return.
He is happy we know His words,
Happier still He will be, when we practice what we’ve learned.
Step on to the heavenly highway,
Live what we speak and speak of how we live.
God commands a life time of love with one another,
He has so much more He would like to give us.
Step on to the heavenly highway,
Pray for the Spirit to be our filling.
He will guide all who wants to follow,
His burdens are light, we only need to be willing.
Step on to the heavenly highway,
Leave the crooked ways behind.
Step on to the heavenly highway,
Let God’s words be permanently impressed within our minds.
