He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
This is a Psalm about David when he was going through a horrible time in his life. He cried out to the Lord, and he kept waiting and waiting on the Lord, he didn’t give up like many of us do. David waited until the Lord turned and acknowledged him. When the Lord looked upon His child (David,) no longer was he sad and depressed, but instead he was now joyous and happy.
I pray that in this New Year of 2019 that whenever we are feeling sad and depress, angry, or whatever negative emotions we may be feeling, that we will remember to cry out to God, and not only should we all cry out to God, but that we would remember to wait on Him to answer us, and to direct us in what we should do.

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
If the Caterpillar can undergo a transformation, going from crawling to flying we too should be capable of accomplishing much more. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. The Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. We too have a "Host" and He also provides us with an abundance of food. If we would use the fuel from this food (scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress.
We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts, if only in our minds.

This is true we tend to forget to cry out to God and wallow in darkness…he is always a present help but our faith is usually weak
Yes, I know exactly what you mean, that’s why perhaps we need to look upward to God more often. I believe when we do that, He will be first on our list when things go wrong. Yes, God will help us in-spite of our weak faith, and the beauty of that is….that God understands our weakness. One thing I have come to realize that God’s Hand is always extended toward us, we just need to do our part….reach up, and take the Hand that He is offering. It may not be easy at first, but once we make that first step it becomes easier and easier. Thanks for stopping by Alpha7ization…blessings!!
I agree with your post, however, the reality is that sometimes waiting on God is not easy . Especially since God does things HIS way and in his time.
However, it’s still in our best interest to wait until we get a clear answer from Him.
Totally agree with you Andria. That’s why I titled it “Hang Tough.” As a matter of fact we really don’t know how long David may have been waiting. I could have been a very long time, but God did come through for Him.
Hang Tough indeed!
