Answer me speedily, O Lord; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those who go down into the pit. Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. Psalm 143:7-8
In the scripture above David is calling on the Lord. He is crying out to God to speak to Him. He wants to hear God speak to Him. He is obviously feeling very low in his spirit. We too are to cry out to God when we are feeling down and depress and by way of His Holy Spirit God will also speak words of comfort to our minds. If we stay close to Him always, He will also show us which paths to take and how to relieve ourselves from depression and anxiousness.
Anxiety in the heart of man causesย depression, But a good word makes it glad. Proverbs 12:25
Sometimes when others do us wrong it’s hard to see the good in them, but this is where we can do damage to ourselves by holding on to anger. We need to try and see only the good in others, this is what God requires us to do, and it’s also much better for our well being.
Try speaking kind and uplifting words only and watch the anxiety and depression melt away.
Indeed, a good word makes our hearts glad. Thank you, Leola. โค๏ธ๐
Such a simple thing to do, yet so many find it hard to be kind.
Amen! Yes indeed! Blessings to you! Happy blessed and spirit filled new year to you & your family! ๐
Hi Tammy, Happy New Year. Blessings to you and your family.
Thanks Leola for this reminder
You’re most welcome.
Thank you much dear same to you & yours!
This true I need to remind myself of this often. So much in life to stress you out
But as hard as it is for all of us…not just you, we need to hand those stresses over to the Lord, and really believe that He will take them away from us. If we don’t really believe that God has taken them, then nothing changes. The problem lies with us in that we keep holding on to our stresses. So what I do now is where I still can’t believe, I as God to help me with my unbelief. Perhaps if you do that alpha7ization, your faith in God will start to grow, and the stresses in your life will start to diminish. Thanks so much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment. Blessings and have a very Happy New Year.
Yes indeed. Call on God and He will answer you and deliver you out of your troubles. Blessings! ๐
Amen. Blessings to you Tammy.
๐ Grace & peace to you.
This is a good word, especially as we think of those who experience seasonal depression and anxiety.
Yes, I thought so also. It’s very easy to be pulled down especially at this time of the year, and with all the other things we may do to help ourselves I think we should also remember what the bible has to say about anxiousness and depression, as it could also be a great help.
Beautiful!
Thank you so much.
Beautiful Scripture and wonderful truth!
Thank you Jennifer.

I appreciate your learning and journey. Keep up with lots of self-love.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for commenting…..while you may be correct I would even put Godโs love at the head, because one thing I have found since I started to follow Him is that I really didn’t know the true meaning of the word love. It is only now with His guidance that I can truly extend love in a way which I didn’t do before, to myself and to others.
I respect your experience with Love, God is Love anyway. Pure reflection of the love we must develop for ourselves, as He loves You and everybody.
Yes absolutely, He loves us all the same.
