I know well the dark days of winter,
When the dark clouds
Seemed to pull my eyelids close.
I know well the dark days of winter
Sinking, sinking, deeper and deeper
Would I have the strength to walk again!
I know well the dark days of winter
When my heart would race
When anxiousness paralyzed.
I know full well the dark days of winter
Wondering if the sun would ever shine again.
Now in the dark days of winter
I look for ways to replace the sun
Walking the trails on a dark wintry day
Feeling the sweetness of crisp cold air,
A great replacement for sunshine rays.
Many hobbies keep me focus
They take my mind to beautiful spots.
Many things to do, keeping busy
Best of all is when I focus on the Rock.
For those who may be reading this poem and you’re not a Christian, you may be wondering about the last line of the poem where I say: “Best of all is when I focus on the Rock.” The Rock refers to Jesus Christ. When we focus on Him, He will straighten all the crooked paths in our lives.
Amen
Amen! Thank you Jesus for straightened every crooked line in my path and making it as straight as the breadth of the seas <3 blessings!
Yes, God is so awesome, when we connect with Him, He is sure to guide us to the straight and narrow.
Amen! Yes always!
Keep looking up!
Yes, thatโs what we all need to do….Keep our eyes focus on God and He will see us through.
