Here are some of the places in the bible where it tells us the importance of our words and the importance of knowing God’s Words.
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24
All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; Nothing crooked or perverse is in them. Proverbs 8:8
………a fool’s voice is known by his many words. Ecclesiastes 5:3
The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up; Ecclesiastes 10:12
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives the understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130
The words of his mouth begin with foolishness, And the end of his talk is raving madness. Ecclesiastes 10:13
A fool also multiplies words. Ecclesiastes 10:14
……….they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. Ezekiel 33:31
Words do matter and God knows if we really mean what we are saying; He knows our thoughts, He knows our hearts. It would also seem that positive , kind and uplifting words has a lot to do with our health and well being.
