Wanderlust

A few years ago I visited Victoria to attend a wedding which was held in the Empress Hotel.IMG_5123 Empress copy

It didn’t take me long to discover the beauty of the place.

We visited the Esquimalt  Lagoon, went whale watching and we would also visit the famous Butchart Gardens.IMG_9124 Butchart Gardens copy.jpg

We would leave Victoria to spend a little time in Vancouver. While there we visited, Whistler Village and Grouse Mountain.

I enjoyed seeing these creatures at Grouse Mountain, even though it was in a controlled situation.

I had an absolutely wonderful time visiting the West Coast of Canada. There was so much to see and to do, but most of all, I enjoyed being able to look out and see the mountains each and every day.

  1. Spectacular pictures! I love them all. In particular Butchert gardens, having been there and appreciate it’s beauty and the commitment to its longevity. I’ve also been to Grouse Mountain. Thank you so much for sharing such excellent as your picture are. Brilliant.

  2. Victoria really surprised me too.. I’ve travelled a few places now and Victoria is the place where I saw the most people with cameras.. everyone was snapping photos of this very cool place
