Passport To Eternity

Passport

IMG_8804 Jesus copy

How do I obtain my passport?

How do I obtain my pass to that heavenly place?

I must acknowledge Jesus, if I wish to see His face to face.

How do I get that travel permit, what things must I do?

I must acknowledge all Gods commands, and not just a few.

I must have faith, agree that Jesus walked this earth and died but rose again,

He did all this, that one day I might live in eternity, without any pain.

How do I obtain that ticket, to spend a life walking the Streets of Gold?

I must believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Let my life reflect Jesus’ love, the ending will soon unfold.

Earthly Fortune

Fortune

Spiritual Wealth is much more fulfilling, than an earthly fortune. While I’ve never had an earthly fortune, I’ve seen or heard of many, who had everything that money could buy, yet they still feel or felt empty or broken. Some lost their way and end up committing suicide, or they become bold, living without any sense of compassion, believing everything they have came from their own hands.

On the other hand, I have no fortune and probably never will have one on this earth. When we as Christians truly connect to Christ, we can be rewarded with great Spiritual Wealth. It’s something that no one could ever steal from us.

[ Treasures in Heaven ] “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 16 : 19 – 20

While it’s the end of March, still no signs of spring here. This photo is very heavy on the color brown, not only from the deer, but also from the closeness of the meadow.

This photo is filled with denseness all around from the color of the deer, to the thickness of the meadow, to the heavy piece of tree stump in the bottom right corner.

All Territories Destroyed

Territory

Right from the beginning of time nations have been fighting nations and in many instances taking what is not theirs. A time is coming soon when all territories, or in other words, everything on this earth will be destroyed. There will be much violence and the earth will be robbed of its money and its goods.

All the territories that make up the earth will dry up and fade away. The earth becomes extremely polluted by man who broke laws and now because of this, within all the territories of this earth, most will suffer and die.

Judgement of the Earth

Behold, the Lord [a]lays waste to the earth, devastates it, twists and distorts its face and scatters its inhabitants. 2 And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the maid like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, the creditor like the debtor [as God’s impartial judgment of sin comes on all]. 3 The earth will be completely laid waste and utterly pillaged, for the Lord has spoken this word. 4 The earth dries up and crumbles away, the world dries out and crumbles away, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away. 5 The earth also is polluted [b]by its inhabitants, because they have transgressed laws, violated statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live on it suffer the punishment of their guilt. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned [under the curse of God’s wrath], and few people are left. Isaiah 26: 1 – 6

Elixir Of Life

Elixir

IMG_5868 Peony_edited-1

I have found my Elixir of life, and for me it is nothing magical, but it is rather sweet.  My Elixir, while still developing, started when I sought a relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I find that when I follow the commands found in the scriptures, there is an inner filling of peace and contentment. It has to be experienced more than explained. God wants for us all to live long and healthy lives and this is more possible when we follow His Guiding Hand.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord [that is, accept their guidance and discipline as His representatives], for this is right [for obedience teaches wisdom and self-discipline]. Honor [esteem, value as precious] your father and your mother [and be respectful to them]—this is the first commandment with a promise— so that it may be well with you, and that you may have a long life on the earth. Ephesians 6: 1 – 3 AMP

The Color Purple

Purple

Country Sky b copy

Purple is a color that you will find in the Old Testament of the bible. When the Lord told Moses what He wanted in the way of His earthly sanctuary the color purple was mentioned, so we know it must be a very important color and also a very symbolic one.

The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering………..3 These are the offerings you are to receive from them: gold, silver and bronze; 4 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair;…………9 “Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you” Says the Lord. Exodus 25 : 2 – 9

We see purple being used again in the New Testament before Jesus is placed on the cross. Even though they mocked Him and poked fun at Him, they still placed Jesus in this rich color,  that is used throughout the making of the earthly sanctuary.

They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him.

Mark 15 : 17

Meaningless

Meaningless

img_1105-sunrise-copy

When we remove ourselves from under Gods protection, we will lose our hope. Solomon, the wisest man in the bible, had so much. God bless Solomon with a great abundance of wisdom, wealth, He made him king, and so much more.

Everything was fine while Solomon remained obedient to God, but once He stepped out from under Gods protection, he became very depressed, he lost his hope, and everything under the sun appeared to him as being meaningless. Once he found his way back to God he regained his hope and confidence again.

I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 1 : 14

A Gripping Case Of Interrupted Symbiosis

Symbiosis

My mother Holding me

Last night I got the opportunity to go with a group of friends to see the play “How Black Mothers Say I Love You,” by Trey Anthony. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYpohFr7xvQ  At first, I was a bit hesitant to go, (because as a black person, I felt like I already knew,) but went any way. This play brought up a lot of Societal Issues. It talked about Inter Racial Marriages, Adoption, Teen Age Pregnancy, Abortion, Cancer, Death, Church, Same Sex Relationships, but most of all it spoke on the many interrupted cases of Symbiosis experienced between child and mother within the West Indian Family.

Mother attending a wedding in England

As infants, we depend on our parents for everything, but in many cases, the symbiosis between mother and child in the West Indian Community was broken. The mother in most  cases, left the child with a Grandparent to go to another country, example: England, United States or Canada, to seek a better way of life for the family. However, six or ten-years of separation can seem like a life time to a child, and in many cases family relationships were damaged, as that critical time for bonding was lost.

Engagement Photo of Mother & Father

This play was funny and it was also sad. It also brought me to a realization as to how many of us share similar stories. Even though it was a play about black mothers, in the audience could be seen many Caucasians and Asians. We all stand to learn from each other, if we would take the time to listen and try to understand and have compassion for one another.

Ordinary Can Become Extraordinary

Instead of travelling on these busy, noisy, polluted familiar streets

One day, I expect to walk on Streets of Gold.

Instead of waking to dull cloudy routine days,

One day, I will bathe in Jesus’ Light.

This body that is now racked with aches and pains will heal.

For one day, in a twinkling of an eye, we will be changed to perfected bodies.

Instead of neglect, abuse, sadness and shedding of tears,

One day, smiles and joy will show on every face

Instead of longing to dine with earthly Kings,

One day we will be invited to sit and dine with our Heavenly King.

All those who believe in Christ, who may seem ordinary or just plain weak,

One day soon, those same Christians will rise to live Extra Ordinary lives.

Revelation 21: 21 ……And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent crystal. AMP
