Here are some of the things that will happen at the end of time:

1: People will be deceived.

2: Earthquakes, famines wars.

3: People will be persecuted and put to death.

4:  Many Christians will be hated.

5: Many Christians will turn away from the faith and they will hate and betray each other.

6: There will be increase wickedness.

7: The love of many will grow cold…..in other word love will be replaced by hate.

8: Some will remain faithful to God till the end.

Just wondering how much further we have to go before we are at the very end of time….would love to hear the thoughts of others.

Matthew 24:4-12 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

    1. You are right….”The End of Time” was referred to as such even before Jesus left this earth to return to heaven. Regardless of how far away it could be, or how close it may be. it would be good to live our lives as though Jesus could return tomorrow….that way we would be prepared when He returns. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. How much further we must go? Keep going to verse 14:

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

There are still so many unreached people groups across the planet with whom the Gospel has not penetrated into any generation. I know a pastor who says “Quit asking when God’s coming back, and work to make it happen!” It’s one way of looking at the problem. Let’s get out there and bring the Gospel to the nations!

    1. Continuing along the same lines….In the Lords Prayer we pray…..”Thy Kingdom come.” So while we may not be asking when God is coming back, (as nobody knows) we can pray for Him and His Kingdom to come, and that His will, will be done on this earth. Thanks for stopping by and sorry I took so long to respond.

      Happy New Year
