Health and Healing

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Proverbs 16:24
When we speak kind words to one another, they bring healing to our minds and healing to our bodies. Loving words will make us feel less stressful and less anxious. Gracious words promote healthy emotions, they strengthen and give us a great sense of well being.
The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Proverbs 12:18
A person who is hasty to speak, foolhardy, ill-advised, inconsiderate; can easily cause damage to another, by the words they use. When we are “Pierced” by someone’s words we can be deeply wounded emotionally and physically.
For good emotional and physical health, kind words will go a long way.

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
If the Caterpillar can undergo a transformation, going from crawling to flying we too should be capable of accomplishing much more. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. The Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. We too have a "Host" and He also provides us with an abundance of food. If we would use the fuel from this food (scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress.
We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts, if only in our minds.

What an inspirational thought! Thank you for bringing this topic to light, too often in our society we are attest to the old adage – stick and stones…. However, we tend to be fragile in nature and require a lot of support when dealing with life’s challenges. If you are someone that sees the glass half empty naturally you will easily find fault with everything that goes wrong in your life which will result in an affinity for negative conversations. I hope and pray that God will remove these vises from our lives and make us whole in his image. Bless you Lee
Thank you so much for stopping by HorAce and for taking the time to comment. Yes, I also hope and pray that one day soon we will all be made whole in God’s image.
