Bye, Bye Summer & Beautiful Backyard Birdies of 2016

Robin Red Breast was the first to arrive, eating the seeds from my sumac.

This Squirrel partially destroyed my window boxes to make its nest.

This House Finch was a frequent visitor to the bird feeder

Adult Starling finds a spot to bring its young.

Starlings fighting each other for a spot at the bird feeder

Starling not backing down from the Grackle

Starlings seem to be Born Fighters, as this one fights a Grackle.

Backyard Party

Two young Starlings among the Zinnias

These two Doves found the deck a nice place to mate.

Mating Doves earlier this Spring

This little Chipmunk loves Safflowers, he would come and call, and wait for Safflowers.

I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.
