What To Ask For In Prayer
When we pray, we are to pray to our Father in Heaven, and these are the things we are to ask for:
1 We are to ask for God’s Kingdom to come…..for Him to come again.
2 Ask for God’s will to be done in your lives.
3 Ask for our daily needs.
4 Ask for forgiveness.
5 Ask God to not allow us to be led into temptation.
6 Ask God to deliver us from evil.
Based on the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13
So we then are not to use God like a magician, only asking for me, me, me. His will for our lives may not be our will for our lives, but it will be best for us in the long run. We are also to ask God for forgiveness, and He is most willing to forgive.
Daily Potion September 15, 2016 Since the first sin took place in the Garden of Eden, we are all living under oppressive sin and we must ask to be set free from the evil that weighs us down……Depression, Anger, Lust, Confusion to name a few.
