The Better Choice
14 “Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, Then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:
Joshua tells the people what they should do, and that is to serve the Lord, but if they don’t wish to serve God He will not stop them, but he won’t be joining them either, because He will be serving God Almighty .
Sometime we try to point people in the right direction, and we may tend to get angry when they don’t do as we wish. They two have the right to make their own choice. Some do not want to be save, these are the ones that God will not force to live in eternity.
