ON THE FENCEWhen I hear the word “Maybe” it is so indecisive…it just leaves you hanging out there.

I try not to get impatient when I ask someone a question and they respond with the word “Maybe,” followed by, I will let you know. I am so glad that when Jesus left this earth, He did not say that “Maybe” He would come back again for us. He was definite and confident in His answer…He said He would come again.

In John 14 Jesus says; “Let not your heart be troubled; You believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

How awesome is that: “I will come.” The “May be” at the end of the sentence implies our free choice. While Jesus will come again, do I want to live in eternity with Him….Yes, absolutely I do, but perhaps for others, the answer might be “Maybe,” as they remain sitting “On the Fence. “https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/maybe/
