Daily Post Photo Challenge: OOps

Wow….I’m not proud of this, but I have quite a few pictures for the “Oops Category. http://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/pingbacks/

Wondering what became of the bird that belong to this beautiful feather.

Oops!! A Starling  trying to decide which of its  young to feed first.

Oops!! A blurred shot of a Waxwing about to eat a berry

Oops!! A Blurred shot of a Male Finch enjoying a Zinia.

Oops!! A bit late in getting a clear shot of the Glossy Ibis.

Oops!! I missed the bird completely.

Well no one is perfect, but it is still fun trying to get that perfect shot.

Apparently this Mountain Bluebird is usually found in much higher terrain, like its name suggest, but just lately it has been found hanging out in the lowland and meadows of Ontario. Quite a rare sight.

Mountain Bluebird

It’s such a small bird and if you don’t know it’s there you can miss it. Me and my friend stumbled upon this scene…..cars lined a quiet street and the occupants, about 20+ photographers appeared to be standing in a meadow with their cameras pointed at nothing…..or so we thought. We would not be the only ones to think that way. Two road workers drove by and stopped to ask, “What on earth is everyone looking at?” Then someone rode by on his bicycle and asked….”Are aliens about to land or something?” lol!!

I suppose it looked odd to see between 20-30 photographers and birders standing, and apparently looking at nothing.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Eye Spy

This is the eye of a beautiful Muscovy duck. I’ve seen them a couple of times now and they always seem so at peace and content.https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/eye-spy/

Muscovy Duck

As I look into the peaceful eyes of this bird, with my own two eyes, my greatest wish for this world is; that we could live side by side in “Peace.”

Psalm 34:14
Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.
