A place where we can stand, a place where we can grow….this place is called
ONTARIO
I couldn’t help from also posting some of my Fall Foliage. A lot of the pictures were taken last year, but some were also taken this fall season.
Walking through the woods on a fall day. The air is cold but the colours are warm.
Many people will come here to take their wedding pictures.
Many Shore birds, mainly Yellowlegs and Killdeer were in the marsh on this day. Two Shore birds in particular kept sparring with each other.
The leaves know just when to change and when to fall. The birds know when it’s time to stop frolicking, and when it’s time to head south.
Harvest time in the forest.
High Park is the place to go in the spring to see the Cherry Blossoms, and then again in the fall to see the beauty of the fall colours. There is also lots of wildlife around; wood ducks, mallards, geese, woodpeckers etc.
I am thankful to God for the beauty He has given, to fresh and to revive our souls and our minds. Even though the world is greatly flawed because of evil, there is still much in nature that can bring us joy.
Many people think that all the birds disappear in the winter, but while many leave, there are also lots of awesome creatures that stay around, and others come to visit, making winter a very beautiful time for birding. The hole in the tree below looks like a great place for an owl to make it’s home.

It’s gorgeous out there, just natural beauty right here on earth and often we fail to see it.
So true….often on the trails you may see people walking quickly, obviously preoccupied with other things, joggers going by…..while I’m sure they are getting some of the beauty, it is so nice to stop, be still, and slowly drink it in. That’s what I like to do…..with a camera in hand.
