Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them…..Matthew 6: 26
I love nature and all that it has to offer. When I cannot get to the trails to view the beautiful landscape or to see the wild life, I do what I can to bring nature to my own backyard.

So often I will come into the kitchen to find at least ten or twelve doves in the garden or just lounging on the deck. I love that they are mainly peaceful birds.
Dove flying to the bird feeder to get his turn at the seeds.
While I’m afraid to get too close to Racoons, I am always happy to get a photo of them. We just happened to be walking on the trail when we spotted this one.
Racoon clinging to a tree.
This Juvenile bald Eagle seems to have taken a little rest stop on his migrating journey. I was luck enough to see him the other day.

While the Eagle was perched in a tree several ravens or crows came after him. He decided to go for a little fly around only still to be tormented.
I am a Christian who believes in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that Jesus will soon return to this earth.
I believe that if the Caterpillar can fly we too can learn to fly. We just have to attach our wings in the right place. As you know the Caterpillar uses the Milk Weed as its host, its source for food. And we too have a "Host" and He also provides us with abundant food. If we used the fuel from this food (Scripture) effectively, we too would be able to fly. Our "Minds" can be freed from all burdens and stress. We can more easily be lifted up when we allow God to be our Host. He would continually feed us. God through His word can teach us how to fly...if only in our thoughts and minds.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! You have some beautiful pictures as well!
I can’t imagine the time you invested to be in the right place at the right time to make each of these shots. The juvenile eagle feeding and raccoon, both in their natural habitat, are great photographs. So glad you shared your love of nature with us this month.
I really don’t have the patience needed of a true birder/wildlife photographer. A few of these pictures were taken from my backyard, the blue jay and the dove. One day as soon as we got to the parking lot my friend spotted the eagle. We would spend some time enjoying the beauty of this magnificent bird. Still more patience is needed.
These are some great images and work well for this month’s theme. Great detail and captures. The eagle shots, especially. I do love that Raccoon shot though, too! Welcome to the challenge and hope to see you in future months!

Thank you Abagail.
Beautiful! You’re so lucky to live so near to all these fantastic creatures- I’d love to be better at capturing wildlife images.
I’m sure you can do it Haylee. I’m pretty new to it, but it takes a lot of time and patience. I’m still working on the patience part.
Simply gorgeous!
Thanks for stopping by Glenda.
