We limit ourselves by believing only what we can see, especially when the bible tells us to believe more in the unseen.
2 Corinthians 4:18……while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
The empty space around us is not really empty, but is filled with Supernatural Beings. Our guardian angels surround us and so do evil angels. There is an ongoing battle for our souls, but if we are not truly connected to our Saviour, we will be unaware of this supernatural war.
The Holy Spirit (Comforter) has a still small voice, which usually goes unaware by most human beings. We are more likely to hear the roar of the adversary (Satan,) and most of the time it is him who is manipulating our minds and he has the power to do so.
By giving “evil” entrance to our minds, we are blocking out the soothing words and the sweetness of the Comforter (Holy Spirit.) So as a result of just going by what is seen we are severely limiting ourselves.
1 Kings 19:12 ……and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice.
